Journaling, Conscious Dance, Poetry, Community
This was an online co-facilitated grief event on Wed, December 20, 2023 from 6:30 – 9:00 pm Mountain Time. Ruth Levin and I worked together to create this container. It was a deeply meaningful experience. We intend to collaborate on other events in 2024. The description is below:
On the evening before winter solstice, we gather in community to reflect on our griefs, give them up to movement, let go of what is ready to leave, and plant seeds for the new emergence of the light.
The evening will be a combination of writing, guided movement and collective sharing.
This workshop is appropriate for anyone with a desire to explore their experience of grief – in any form – more deeply. There will be space and consideration for you to journey as deep or stay as shallow as you desire to go.
Your facilitators are versed in their own experiences of grief and grieving, however they are not psychologists or psychotherapists. We ask that you show up with a listening and responsibility for your own heart and wellbeing.
Wed, December 20 from 6:30 – 9:00 pm MST
$45 but other options available to those for whom that would be a barrier.
Co-facilitated by Ruth Levin and Beth Janzen.
