TPoL Series 1
Building Up and Letting Go
A 5-week small group series using your relationship with your possessions as the gateway for insight, creativity, and freedom
We take our inspiration from nature. The tree buds, sends out leaves, fruits, then sheds all in winter. Like them, we go through periods of expansion and acquisition and periods of shedding, paring down, release. It looks a little different for each of us. Some of us go through dramatic arcs of building up our collection of possessions and then casting off, purging, or redistributing our things. For others the experience is more subtle. For some, it repeats many times, and for others it follows the longer cycle of a lifetime.
In this unique series, Beth will guide you to expand your awareness using the lens of your relationship with your possessions. Through creative exercises, meaningful conversations, and gentle self-inquiry, you will explore the beliefs and judgments that may be blocking you from experiencing contentment with your belongings. Perhaps a pull from your soul is being countered by internal or external opposition? This exploration will lead to greater freedom and authenticity as we increase loving attention to our lives.
Beth has more than two decades of experience creating safe containers for learning. Her approach is gentle, inclusive, and supportive. While encouraging the group’s intimacy, Beth also respects and honours your inner knowing and need for privacy. Her approach allows you to go as deeply as you feel comfortable at any time.
